Qld: Goverment rejects mental health register
The Queensland government has ruled out having a police register of mental health patientsto stop them accessing gun licences.
State Police Minister TONY McGRADY says a register shouldn't and probably couldn't be developed.
After meeting with Police Commissioner BOB ATKINSON, Mr McGRADY said not all mentalpatients have criminal tendencies.
